Buying houses that can serve as churches and homes for the pastors is an exciting way forward for Cuban believers. The cost of this home is higher than others it is in the city of Cienfuegos, which is a highly touristy area. Currently this church has 127 members and 6 local leaders who are working passionately to spread the Gospel.

This two level home will provide living space for the pastor on one floor and meeting space on the other. The purchase of this home has given the church access to an area of the city where it was not present before. We’re excited!

Vladimir Cantero Barrizonte, the missionary here, will now call this house his home and home to the church he is pastoring. Before the purchase of this house, he was traveling 17km to reach this area. The home is not far from the beach giving it access to tourists and locals alike. It will be a place for everyone!

Before the purchase of this property, Moisés Zamora Lopez, the church planter here, traveled 16kms to be present in this community. Living and pastoring in the same place allows him to travel less and spend more time serving the local people. This house puts him closer to where God has asked him to be.

Yaite Malla, the missionary planting this church, has been traveling 23km from another church to work in this area. The distance is compounded by the lack of transit. With transportation being a huge issue, Yaite will use this house as both his church and his home making the community accessible to him and the church accessible to the community!
