The Story of MCA

The development of Malvern Christian Assembly as an outgrowth of another church was the first of its kind in the history of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada (PAOC). In 1977 Scarborough Gospel Temple began a Sunday School program at Burrows Hall Junior Public School and attendance quickly grew to over 100 people. MCA is now home to over 1000 people from 45 different nations around the world. We praise God for all that He has done; for what He is still doing; and for what He will do!

Always a super weekend at Ottawa Valley Camp!  Sold out again this year, with lads from Ontario and Quebec. Steve Sparling and his team know how to make it work. The theme this year was, “running to Win’ and the men took it seriously from the very first song lead by the Band. I love to hear 160 men raise their voice in worship to the King. Each morning at 7:30 there was prayer in the auditorium with 100 guys calling on God. Lots of awesome food and gallons of coffee. Lots to do with three tournaments, golf, fishing and horseshoes. The preaching was easy, the worship intense and the altars were spontaneous.

Chuck Price - Monday June 22nd to Friday June 26th

Coupled with a big heart and a desire to help people, Chuck Price is passionate to see peoples’ lives changed. He is an encourager and exhorter with a great sense of humor. Chuck is real, relevant, and has the unique ability to connect with every age group.

His background as a youth educator and program director in the inner-city housing projects, along with his extensive involvement in camps for the underprivileged, has been a great foundation for who he is today. After twenty-four years of pastoring in both Canada and the US, Chuck founded the non-profit organization, Reapers in the Rain. He travels the world sharing his faith, training leaders, building infrastructure and providing humanitarian aid.

We are in the process of shipping a forty-foot container to Cuba. It’s a real team effort with six different businesses and organizations involved. Shout out to Tru Life for their huge donation of 24 skids of fabric. As well we have boxes of clothes, medical supplies, shoes, chairs and hygiene products. Our goal is to ship in July! Please keep this project in prayer as it has the potential to bless hundreds of Cubans.
